A huge protest against the new law passed by the president of the US, Donald Trump, began from the technology companies. Especially some new generation technology companies supported immigrants not only in a written way but also financially. Some of those supports were Google’s 4 million dollars donation to immigrant organizations and Airbnb’s providing free accommodation. The foundation of this reaction is surely the freedom sense of the country but immigrant Americans’ success is also undeniable.

According to the report of “Renew Your Economy”, 40 percent of the Fortune 500 companies in the US in 2010 were founded by immigrants of their descendants. According to the report, also shared by Airbnb, the rate of immigrant entrepreneurs rised to 28.5 percent in 2016 while it was only 13.3 percent in 1966. As this situation is clear, Jordan Gonen, whose father immigrated to the US twenty years ago, made a list of the entrepreneurs and told why he did that.

Although Gonen’s list goes back even to the Founding Fathers, there are some names that we already know very well. Before going deep into this matter, here is the list of those entrepreneurs, and of course to be continued.
