Civitacampomarano is a small village with the population of 400 people, located in Campobasso, Italy. The interesting project carried out in this village aims to show that virtual tools, that are thought to be irreplaceable, are actually a part of real life. Here are 12 great photos from the village where internet and real life are combined.
- Gossip and small talk: This is a Twitter Bench
- Wikipedia logo is cut out for the door of this lady, who is famous for the stories she tell.
- This little saloon where people can watch games, is like a simulation of YouTube.
- A bulletin board at the center of the village. Facebook, of course…
- We really like this mailing box with Gmail logo…
- …and this WhatsApp telephone booth.
Internet is far far away from this village where traditions are very important. Mobile phones don’t even have signals all the time, and data connection is limited. This project, aiming to show that virtual tools always exist in traditions & popular culture, can be named as “real life internet.”
- Without worrying about the cargo, you can walk i this Ebay shop and get whatever you want.
- The pharmacy is of course Avast Antivirus.
- Funny but logical: WeTransfer shipping.
- Google pub.
- Newsboy RSS Feed.
- And finally, for young couples’ sake, Tinder’s logo was put on a bench located in the woods of the village.
